(4) The names of all members of the Board of the Malawi Posts Corporation, and every change of membership, shall be published in the Gazette. (5) A person shall not qualify to be appointed as a member of the Board of the Malawi Posts Corporation if that person__ (a) holds a position in a political party; (b) has, within the last three years, been convicted by a competent court of a crime which is punishable with imprisonment without an option of a fine; (c) is an undischarged bankrupt; (d) is a minor; (e) is a Member of Parliament; or (f) is a Minister or deputy Minister. (6) The President shall appoint one of the members of the Board of the Malawi Posts Corporation as Chairperson. (7) In the event of the office of the Chairperson of the Board of the Malawi Posts Corporation becoming vacant, members of the Board shall elect one amongst themselves to exercise the powers and perform the duties of the Chairperson, until a new Chairperson is appointed. 141.__(1) A member of the Board of the Malawi Posts Corporation, other than an ex officio member, shall hold office for a period of three years and shall be eligible for re-appointment to one more term.
