Generally, the private broadcasters produce a wider range of content than the public broadcasters. They take the trouble to reflect all the conflicting voices in various programs, such as debates, talk shows, newscasts or talk shows, and interactive programs. Competition allowed the development of quality programming and the increased broadcasting of subjects of public interest. TV+, for example, produces environmental programs, dealing with subjects such as the waste management and pollution. Private broadcasters are also involved in partnership with the State and civil society, in matters concerning public health, as in the case of vaccination campaigns. Despite being open to everyone, senior officials of the administration frequently boycott radio and private television channels, particularly when they intervene on topics related to government policies and corruption. Some panellists claim that at one point, the Presidency of the Republic declared TV+ as persona non grata.
