I 20 4. Conclusion The adoption of the Communications Policy represents a significant step forward for Lesotho's communications sector. The Policy will result in the creation of a converged regulatory authority, the restructuring of the broadcasting and postal sectors, the establishment of a Universal Service Fund, increased competition, and the greater availability of the converged services that will help Lesotho to become a part of the global information society.
