2.10 Private broadcasters deliver a minimum of quality
public interest programmes.
Private radio and television stations based in the capital city of Lomé generally
stick to the content of their program service. Which is not the case for other
broadcasters in the interior of the country.
The vast majority of private radio and television stations do not have the material,
financial means or the human resources required to ensure a high quality
production which the public can appreciate.
Even when they attempt to air programs, the quality is poor. This absence of
readability in the programming of private broadcasters means that they actually
impart very little information.
