GOTv had asked the High Court to restrain ZNBC from disconnecting their services and from continuing to encrypt the signal transmitted by free-to-air content providers. GOTv further asked the Court to declare the operation of public signal distribution network by TopStar illegal and unlawful. 7.1.2 20th February, 2017 (The Mast Newspaper) Legal matters Oracle media owner pleads not guilty Oracle media proprietor, and the publisher of The Mast Newspaper, Mutinta Mazoka M’membe has been granted bail of K3, 000 in her own recognisance pending trial after she pleaded not guilty to a charge of obstructing police officers on duty. Mutinta had been summoned to answer to a complaint of contempt of court for allegedly tearing a search warrant on February 15, 2017.
