3.10

The public broadcaster offers varied programmes representing all interests.

Analysis:
ORTM tries to offer varied programmes with derisory means, not allowing to satisfy the
demand and needs of listeners and viewers.
Panellists regret the lack of political debate which can be explained by the lack of well
prepared resources. Other topics of interest are not treated or very little.
Meanwhile, the matter has cooled down regarding the return to channelled debate.

different points of view and opinion.
Analysis:

3.12 The public broadcaster presents a local content being as varied and creative as
economically tangible.
Analysis:
According to the specifications, ORTM must produce more local content with at least
60% for television. A particular accent is put on the promotion of national languages.
This develops a dynamic production policy and broadcasting of attractive and educational
programmes on the radio and television on three-fold level - national, regional and local.
Today, it proposes a more and more home-based content.
