SECTOR 2

2.13 The advertising market is large enough to support
a diversity of media outlets.
The advertising market, which is dominated by mobile telephone companies, the
State/Government and commercial banks, is not large enough, which is particularly
aggravated by the lack, in the country, of a Law on Public Announcements.
And, very often, there is a feeling that no strategy exists, at the level of the
State/Government, with regard to public advertisements, in the newspaper with
supposedly the largest circulation, regarding dsitricts where this publication either
never arrives or only arrives very late.
