However, the government’s contribution is preponderant to the extent that the actual official with power to authorize expenditure on the ORTB budget is the Minister of Finance. A significant part of staff salaries as well as the acquisition and renewal of infrastructure are included in the national budget. A project to extend ORTB coverage all over the country is currently being implemented with full funding from the national budget.
