STB distribution
- Consumers buy their own STBs
- No free STB program
-Signal distributor, TopStar putting mechanisms to stimulate STB acquisitions by consumers to ensure all
households own an STB in time for ASO. In august 2017 TopStar discounted STBs from 199 kwacha to K99
and record sales were achieved. Five hundred thousand STBs were sold in a single day as a result. TopStar has
STB distribution centres dotted throughout the country .
