DIGITALSECURITYGUIDE Open a link in a new Private Window • Hold down the Ctrl key while you click on any link and choose Open Link in New Private Window from the context menu. Tip: Private Browsing windows have a purple mask at the top. In Chrome 1. Open a Chrome window 2. In the top-right corner of the browser window, click the Chrome menu . 3. Select New Incognito Window. 4. A window will open with this in the top-right corner 5. To close incognito mode, go to the corner of each of your incognito windows and click the X. Tip: You can also press Ctrl + Shift + N (Windows, Linux, and Chrome OS) and - Shift - N (Mac) to open an incognito window. 14
