ANALYSIS: A lot of progress has been made in Mauritius over the last years in this regard. The ratio of sexes employed in the media is at least 50 – 50, if not more in favour of female media practitioners. Women are also in top positions, for example at the La Sentinelle group (Director of Publications) or at Samedi Plus, Weekend and Radio One (editors).
