Use of technology 84. A postal licensee shall, where practicable, use appropriate technology to enhance quality of service as well as to diversify postal services. International obligations of licensee 85. A postal licensee shall exercise its rights and powers and perform its duties and obligations under the licence, in a manner which is consistent with the UPU Acts. Restriction on exclusive agreements for international service 86. A postal licensee shall not enter into any exclusive arrangement or agreement with any person operating an international postal service, without the prior written consent of the Authority. Postal addresses 87. (1) The Authority shall allocate and regulate postal addresses in Botswana. (2) A postal licensee shall ensure that postal items received at its network have full postal addressing as an element of identification of an area where an addressee may be located. (3) The Authority shall ensure that postal licensees maintain and manage their respective postal address databases. Application of this Part 88.
