The Polytechnic of Namibia offers a three-year, full-time evening-class diploma in media studies; a three-year Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Communication Technology degree and the fourth-year Bachelor of Honours in Journalism and Communication Technology degree. In June 2008, the department acquired two new state-of-the-art media labs.
