SECTOR 2 2.11 The advertisement market is large enough to support a diversity of media outlets. The advertising market is very small. In the main it is only the five telephone companies (SOTELGUI, Areeba, Intercel, Orange and Cellcom) that run sustained or substantial campaigns. To make matters worse, they have re-oriented their advertising strategies and are now increasingly using their own mobile client network, thus depriving the print and broadcast media of an important source of income. It is almost impossible to assess what the overall size of the advertising market might be. The Guinean Advertising Office (Office Guinéen de Publicité, OGP), a government agency, does not publish any figures.
