People are free to access domestic and international media via satellite or the internet. There is only one printing press in the country, Birhanena Selam Printing Press, which is owned by the state. Publishers encounter problems during the production process which, from time to time, cause delays in the delivery of papers. Because of the size of the country, distribution of print media in remote parts is very difficult and no real efforts are undertaken to improve the situation. 28 AFRICAN MEDIA BAROMETER ETHIOPIA 2010
