(English text signed by the Administrator ) ORDINANCE To amend the Advertising on Roads and Ribbon Development Ordinance, 1960, to bring certain definitions in terms thereof into concord with the appropriate provisions of the Roads Ordinance, 1962. 1. Amends section 1 of the Advertising on Roads and Ribbon Development Ordinance, 1960 (Ordinance 30 of 1960) – hereinafter called the principal ordinance - , a) by substituting the words “the Roads Ordinance, 1953 (Ordinance 17 of 1953)” with the words “the Roads Odinance, 1962 (Ordinance 28 of 1962)” b) by substituting the old definition of “local authority” of the following definition: "local authority" means a municipally or village management board and in respect of any area not under the control of a municipality or village management board “local authority” means the magistrate of the district in which such area is situated. 2. Amends section 2 (1) (c) of the principal ordinance by deleting the word “or farm”.\ 3. Amends section 6 (d) of the principal ordinance by substituting the words “ private or farm road” with the words “private road”. 4. Amends section 13 of the principal ordinance a) by substituting in paragraph (i) the words “fifty pounds” and “one hundred pounds” with the words “one hundred rand” and “ two hundred rand” b) by substituting in paragraph (ii) the words “one hundred pounds” with the words “two hundred rand”. 5.
