They can be attributed to the fact that news has become a commercial product that is shaped, packaged
and marketed with a constant eye for profits, thus mainstream media are businesses dedicated to
presenting information within the parameters of profitability48. Media owners and editors push
journalists to look for stories that sell the paper and, in most cases, they view internet and technology
related stories as unprofitable.
