The missions and obligations of RTI in terms of information and other programmes are defined in the specifications section attached to the public service broadcasting agreement signed between the State and the broadcaster. However, certain members of the panel differ on the degree to which the terms of these specifications are applied. However, there was a consensus on the fact that the Ivorian Public Broadcaster is not at equidistance of the different political families and of religious and other lines of thought. Certain panel members particularly note the significant disproportion between Christian and Muslim programmes. The reasons of this asymmetry are to be determined.
