SAIMED report In the reporting period 2008-09, the Southern African Institute for Media Entrepreneurship and Development (SAIMED) sustained its capacity building activities in a number of countries in the region. Its beneficiaries continued being individual countries – informed mostly by feedback obtained during the reporting period of 2007-08. In the delivery of the activities, SAIMED out-sourced expertise from the region with multiple qualifications, and worked in the areas of economic planning, policy analysis, financial management and literacy, business development services, SMEs and research.
