WAY FORWARD work on the improvement of the professionalism of journalists, with support from other stakeholders. • Enforcement of broadcasting guidelines with the IBA. • Need to advocate for the reform of the IBA – especially regarding the appointment structure, to ensure the body’s independence and autonomy. • Push for a revision of advertising rates, and review and revise advertising practices.
