Enforcement of broadcasting guidelines with the IBA.

Need to advocate for the reform of the IBA – especially regarding
the appointment structure, to ensure the body’s independence and
autonomy.

Push for a revision of advertising rates, and review and revise
advertising practices. Additionally, greater business should go to
media houses in the private sector, which would subsequently provide
a moral ground for advocating for higher wages.

•

Being commercial entities, radio stations should seek alternative
avenues to generate income.

•

A media Indaba should be held in Zambia.
