WAY FORWARD The way forward 1. What were the developments in the media environment in the last three/four years? - Nil 2. What kinds of activities are needed over the next three/four years? - Advocacy for the negotiation and signing of a collective agreement specific to the communication sector is urgent and imperative, to improve the working conditions of journalists and related professions. The SYNAPAPE seems better positioned to initiate and coordinate this activity. - Considering the low level of solidarity and the absence of a common front to defend and promote the cause of journalists and the media, it becomes necessary to carry out actions for a better collaboration between all professional associations. The ideal would be to have an association or an umbrella organization. In the light of his experience, Mr. Jean Pascal NDONG OBIANG has been designated to carry out this activity.
