The editorial independence of print media
published by a public authority is protected adequately
against undue political interference
The panel was unanimous in its view that the daily Togo Presse is not protected in

coverage of trips of the head of state is handled exclusively by the media attaché
of the Presidency of the Republic who looks after the writing of reports and has
them published in the paper.
