including marginalised communities.
Analysis:
Maitlamo is a draft information and communication technology policy, which was
approved by Cabinet in 2005 but remains a draft and has not been implemented.
The draft outlines the government’s aim of meeting the information needs of all
citizens and talks about the computerisation of libraries and universal access. The
use of multiple languages is not mentioned, nor is the sharing of infrastructure (i.e.
transmitter towers) between state and private broadcasters.
