According to Marisamhuka, two distinct groups comprising Zanu PF and MDC-T were gathered at the venue of the scheduled rally. Minister Shamu issued what he said was the final warning against media organisations denigrating President Robert Mugabe and the country’s leadership. Sachikonye named the news agency in question as African Open Media Initiative (Private) Limited which collected news from Zimbabwe and sold it internationally.
